Beautifully hand finished, these handmade papers, with their rough, irregular finish and bulky profile, are perfect for invitations and card making where a rustic or shabby chic look is wanted. A wonderfully textural paper, fun to layer and contrast with smooth mill papers, chiffons and lace for a vintage look.
These papers are sometimes referred to as Bark Papers, being reminiscent of tree bark. The texture is created traditionally by hand, when drying the paper on the mould/deckle, and as such, will have uneven lines which is part of their unique characteristic and appeal.
