This Colourific Orientals Pack contains exquisite papers from our handmade, Orientals recycled paper range.
Oriental catergory
A mix of delicate vine patterns and florals from metallic gold, mink, copper and silver to the more delicate pink, lilac, apricot, blue, mint and warm grey.
These papers are something very special as they have been printed using many different handmade processes.
The background colour has been screen printed and in some cases it is a variegated print. Once dry, it is hand airbrushed to give a subtlety of colour and the design can then be screen printed over this using vibrant and/or subtle colour for a tone on tone effect depending on the pattern. Finally the third process, and the best of all in our opinion… the pattern is highlighted with gold or silver foil in shiny, gleaming metallic foil. We love how this paper plays with the light, just angle it back and forth and see how the metallic foils enhance the beautiful prints and dance in the light.
